The restoration at LCP Wetlands, completed in 2007, included white water lily pads to establish habitat not present elsewhere around Onondaga Lake.

The LCP wetlands (center), located behind the New York State Fairgrounds, encompass about 20 acres of thriving habitat, including 12 acres of wetlands.

November 2016 - The LCP wetlands (center), located behind the New York State Fairgrounds, encompass about 20 acres of thriving habitat, including 12 acres of wetlands.

After completion of previous cleanup phases, a permanent multi-layer cap is now in place at the former LCP Chemicals site isolating remaining contaminants from the environment.
