Onondaga Lake Visitors Center
November 2012: The Onondaga Lake Visitors Center was built to provide the public with access to the significant work taking place by hundreds of scientists, engineers, and skilled craft laborers from this region.	November 2012: Onondaga Lake Visitors Welcome Sign	November 2012: To visit the center, reservations are required at 315-552-9751 or by filling out the form found on this website. Public open houses will be offered Friday afternoons, once dredging begins again next spring. There is no fee to visit the center.	November 2012: Displays highlight DEC's cleanup plan, progress to date, the re-establishment of wetlands, and extensive habitat enhancements.	November 2012: A Visitors Center conference room offers space for groups that have lake-related meetings.

Onondaga Lake Conservation Corps
October 2012: Eighty-six volunteers from Central New York participated in the third Onondaga Lake Conservation Corps stewardship event at Nine Mile Creek and the Geddes Brook wetlands on Saturday, October 20.	October 2012: Volunteers plant native shrubs and trees to enhance habitat at Nine Mile Creek.
